CDH

CDH is short for a condition known as congenital diaphragmatic hernia. It is a birth defect that occurs in approximately 1 in 2,000 to 3,000 births.

iNO – inhaled nitric oxide; relaxes blood vessels so that blood flows more freely.

Intra ventricular hemorrhage (IVH) – bleeding into the brain.

IV – intravenous; the placement of a needle or catheter into a vein to administer medication, saline, etc.
